A total of 20 industrial tourist routes were released in Guangzhou on August 4th by the province's Department of Culture and Tourism and the Department of Industry and Information Technology. The province also announced the first batch of 127 industrial tourism projects, including 19 industrial heritage attractions and 52 industrial museums.

Guangdong is home to dozens of China's world-renowned leading manufacturing enterprises and brands, such as technology firm Huawei, telecom equipment maker ZTE, home appliances giants Midea and Gree, TV manufacturer TCL, new-energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer BYD and auto maker GAC. The Department of Culture and Tourism, working in tandem with the Department of Industry and Information Technology will further explore the province's industrial tourism resources and launch more routes for tourists to enjoy in the future.

Rossini Horologe Museum

Ancient Nanfeng Kiln

The Kiln is one of the national industrial heritage projects designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Built in the Ming Dynasty (1506–1521), it has been continuously firing for more than 500 years and is dubbed as a 'ceramic living fossil'. Come here to explore the stoves and ancient folk houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and to experience pottery making with masters. At the nearby antique street, ceramics museum and world's largest pottery shop, you will be overwhelmed by numerous pottery products of various types.

The Hall is another industrial museum not to be missed, here you can taste the special 'soy sauce ice cream'. It demonstrates a one-thousand-year-old culture including the brewing technology of southern soy sauce through four exhibitions. Tourists will also have a chance to view how Chubang soy sauce is made from fermented soybeans by visiting its production line and vast drying yard along the river.


Blue Ribbon Beer Museum

If you are a fan of beer, you don't want to miss out on this Museum. Blue Ribbon's Zhaoqing Brewery was established in 1989, and the museum in 2013. The museum showcases Blue Ribbon's development history since its establishment in 1844 and includes packaging and production lines. You can even try to make your own beer in the Brewery too.
